We had a tequila party on Friday. And by tequila party, I mean four of us (Brennan, Alex, Drew, and me) went in on a bottle of tequila, and invited a few people over. It was lots of fun.

We went to this really bad party halfway through the night, and were forced to leave as a girl threatened to pull a gun on Matt. Luckily Jacouri was there to save his ass. Then Jenni and Drew got in a fight on the way home, and I had to mediate. *sigh* This is why I have so few girl friends. Drew is a lot cooler than I originally thought she was, so is Jenni. Jenni however is a girl. I mean, the drama and the emotional shit. Can't handle it! After I calmed her down we talked for a while, and she was cool. But apparently shit like this happens a lot with her, and I don't know how much of that I can handle.

But seriously, aside from that shit it was a lot of fun. Alex also passed out on my bed while I was talking Jenni down. By accident? I don't really think so, but nothing can be proven. And nothing happened.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/richa.pandeya/TequilaParty" target="_blank">Tequila party pics...</a>

Saturday night we got some beer, played Fuck the Dealer and Circle of Death, also lots of fun. Not much else to tell about last night, other than it was the first night in probably weeks that no one passed out on our couch. It was so nice to get up this morning without Matt, Alex, Andrew, or Nick passed out in the living room in their boxers. SERIOUSLY, I have to sit on that couch, not too happy about you guys sleeping on there in your boxers.

<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/richa.pandeya/ItSYourTurnLeia" target="_blank">It's your turn, Leia.</a>

Then last night Brennan, Alex, and I split a case of Blue Moon, and played some Halo. Very chill night, I went to be really late because after Alex and Matt left Brennan and I stayed up watching Planet Earth. That show is so good, and so addicting. Poor polar bears.

I still haven't bought my books for my classes... must remember to get on that.

So, first weekend after school started and I managed to get drunk every night... so much for slowing down when the semester started.

Summer is over.. :( Classes started today, which isn't really a bad thing, but I will miss staying up into all hours of the night and sleeping in till 1.

It's been a really good summer. I traveled quite a bit, and had tons of fun. Saw some good shows had some good times. :)

On Friday I went to a party where Brennan's band played for the first time in over a year. It was a lot of fun, and I swear that they will be famous one day. If for some reason that doesn't happen it will surely be a shame, because they are a lot more talented than a lot of the artists out there. If you hear of a band called Thief in the future, check that shit out, it's awesome.

Saturday Drew and Jenni/the guys that live behind them had a party. It was alright, a lot of people that I don't know. Freeish keg, plus I finished off a bottle of rum..

I'm getting a strong feeling that Alex likes me, which is weird mostly because he has a girlfriend. Seriously, why does this happen? Alex is cool, and if he wasn't attached I probably wouldn't mind messing around, though I wouldn't pursue anything serious with him. These youngins, don't know what to do about them.

I'm taking 14 hours this semester, but I'm thinking about dropping my Research Methods class and adding something else instead. Fucking hate Research Methods (which I've ALREADY TAKEN, stupid transfer bullshit), it's such a waste of time class. Here, let me teach you how to do research, because it's not like you've learned the scientific method yet in your past 12 years of schooling. Here, let me also teach you some basic math and statistics even though you were required to take those classes before you took this one. Fucking dumb fucks.

I tried to drop and add something earlier today, but apparently I have a hold on my account. I have some unpaid fines, unfortunately they chose not to specify what they are for and how much they are, even though Raidernet has a specific place to tell me those things, get your shit together guys.

Man, this post got really ranty really fast.. so I'm going to end there and leave you with some more pictures of <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/richa.pandeya/Tipsy" target="_blank">Tipsy</a>. I'm quickly becoming one of those people who only takes pictures of their pets.

I wasn't able to get the one of the puppies in the last post, by the time I called the lady they had all been taken. Instead, I got little Miss Tipsy, who is arguably the cutest puppy in the world. She keeps me very busy because aside from being very cute sometimes she's very naughty. For the most part she's really chill though, she loves everyone, and rarely ever barks (I've had her since Friday and I've heard her bark only three times). I love her, and she knows I'm her mommy... which makes me feel so proud. She's very smart, three months old and I taught her 'sit' in a day!!

Anyway, in other news...Not much happening in my world aside from the puppy. Brennan, Drew (his girlfriend), and Matt (his best friend) have been fighting for a while now. Drew and Matt have never really gotten along, but it kind of reached new heights when he got really drunk and punched her in the face. So they aren't talking, both of them are fighting with Brennan, and we're all trying to convince Matt to go to rehab.

That's the drama. There's more to it, but don't feel like getting into it right now... so instead.. <a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/richa.pandeya/Tipsy" target="_blank">some pictures</a> of my baby!

SOOOO... Richa might be the proud owner of her very own puppy soon. :D I'm really excited!

Okay, so I was up in the NYC last weekend for Rock The Bells. Rage was AMAZING, probably the best live show I've ever seen (and that's after having seen Tool twice!). There was so much energy in the crowd, and the music sounded like it could've been straight off of the album. :D

We stayed with my older brother's best friend from elementary school. Nick is just as crazy as he was the last time I saw him (almost 11 years ago), it was a lot of fun hanging out with him again. He was the only one of Anshu's friends that I actually like (in fact, he was one of my first crushes). I finally got to play the Wii and I've decided I'm buying one as soon as I have money. I also learned the hard way that chugging the better part of a Mudslide is NOT a good idea.

NYC is always fun, no other city makes you feel so beautiful and skeeved out all at the same time. If you've been, you know what I mean.

In other news the house is looking AWESOME. Brennan moved in all of his stuff (he inherited all of his mom's stuff), so the living room looks so good. I'm going to be driving out there tonight and finish unpacking a little more. I'm planning on getting a puppy before classes start, so I'm really excited about that.

Nothing new on the boy front, which makes me sad sorta, but I've kind of decided I don't really care anymore. I need to focus on other things anyway. But, it has to be said that Brennan walking around with his shirt off all the time is going to be the death of me.

Seeing Tool for the second time was, of course, amazing again. We were at a side view and we could see EVERYTHING on stage. So awesome. Justin Chancellor chugged five beers in under five minutes during the drum break in Lateralus, which I found hilarious.

They didn't play for as long as they did at Bonnaroo (no The Pot or Aenima this time), but it's Tool so I don't really care all that much.

I'm kinda in love with Maynard a little bit now. I've always thought he was awesome, but... yeah I know a lot of people find him a little weird and creepy. I don't know what it is, but if I ever saw him walking down the street I would jump his bones so fast he wouldn't even know what hit him.

I ended up buying a shirt and some Tool panties! Now I can say Tool is in my pants. :D I'm such a nerd.

After the concert we drove to Mona's place in Philly, where I proceeded to get into a huge fight with my brothers at two o'clock in the morning. Barrel of laughs that was. I haven't really lost my temper in a long time, so I kinda ended up exploding and yelling at both of them in the parking lot for being douches. I love both of my brothers, I really really do, but I've learned that I cannot stand the both of them when they are around each other. They both go into douche bag boy mode and try my patience until I finally lose it, and then I look like I'm crazy...

This weekend will be interesting in that I have to go to two welcome home parties for my brother, and I'm really not interested in going to either. It's awesome that my brother is back from Kuwait, but I've already welcomed him back and feel no real need to be at these parties. Especially since it means I have to spend my entire Friday afternoon (and more than likely, night) cleaning.

More importantly HARRY POTTER TONIGHT! Can you handle it?

I started moving into the house on Monday (I have a bunch of pictures but my camera is in my car, and I'm too lazy to walk downstairs). I spent the night there Monday night, and went over to Brennan's apartment and got drunk.

Orange soda and Bacardi O = deliciousness.

I also remembered how much fun flirting is. I got there and Matt, Zack x 2, and Alex were there. I spent most of the night talking about music and flirting with Alex. Lots of fun. Kind of mean because I know he likes me, and I'd probably never actually date him. Still fun, though. If he were a little bit older, I might actually be interested. (I know how strange that sounds, what with my obsession with younger guys...)

Boys are fun, when they're not being stupid. :D

Also, I'm going to see Tool (again, this time with Anshu as well) on Monday in Reading, PA. Which is awesome for two reasons; I get to see one of my favorite bands again, and then I get to hang out with my favorite cousin.

I signed my lease today! I get to move in tomorrow morning, so I'm going to pack up as much of my stuff as I can in my mom's van and take it down to Murfreesboro.

I am currently celebrating, in my own signature way. ;)

My brother's home, I've got my new place.. life is sweet.

Yes, my friends, I am alive! I am also very tired, so I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. I know it won't be.

First of all, thanks to Beth for giving me the time and the space. Secondly, I hope you guys enjoy my crazy rantings... on with the show.

My last few weeks in a nutshell.

June 13th-17th I was at Bonnaroo, which is a music festival for those of you who don't know. I got to see Tool (so amazing!), John Paul Jones (amazing that that even happened! Twice!), The Police, and a ton of other cool bands and artists. The entire experience was amazing. I think I'm going to go every year for the rest of my life.

Then June 18th my parents, my brother, and I drove to NY. Drove, I'm serious. First we went to Rochester, then to Syracuse, and then to Kingston. It was actually a lot of fun! I spent some time with some old friends, and even got a chance to meet (some of) my old neighbors. We drove back on the 24th.

I spent the last week and a half recovering/being as lazy as I could possibly be.

Last night I went to the Bar Car as I do every Tuesday. They have open mic night on Tuesdays, and my friend has recently taken up stand-up, so I go and support him (and drink a little while I'm there). My dad calls me twice, but it's during someone's set so I don't answer. I then notice he's calling my brother as well, so I figured it must be important.

IT WAS ANSHU! Back in the States. :) We knew he was coming back on Tuesday, and that we wouldn't be able to actually see him (except my dad) until Saturday. There was a sudden change and we found out we could come up today (yesterday, technically..).

Sooo... basically we drove up to Camp Atterbury and I got to see my brother for the first time in a year! It was so... I don't even know the word for it. To say it was 'great' or 'awesome' or 'sweet' like I usually would describe something doesn't really fit here. I can say that it's amazing how even when you haven't seen your sibling(s) for a while, you never miss a beat. It's so easy to just fall back into. Pretty awesome, guys.

Back in Franklin now, until Saturday when we go to bring Anshu home (yay!). Then on Sunday I sign the lease for the house I'll be living in for the next year (yay, again!).

Pictures will come soon.

Great Fourth of July. :D
