Look what she did! And it doesn't even have the threatened puppies! So, supposedly this is a picture of johnny depp from sleepy hollow. I haven't seen the film and I sure didn't recognize him!

Life is still going well. I finally got my measurements for beth (and in the process learned where my waist was, which is actually something I have never contemplated before).

I am in the middle of a chapter on sperm competition which I am presenting next week to my behavioral ecology class. I had forgotten how much I love science. I just read about theories for the evolution of two gamete types leading to the two sexes. Amazing stuff! I wish I had the deductive ability that the guys who came up with the theory did.

I also taught the most chaotic lab this morning. As soon as it was over I had to go steal a piece of choclate from my roommate's labmate to calm my nerves. Pandamonium is not my friend! But we all survived and will be showing up at the same bat-time and same bat-channel next week. My poor poor children (as I call my students) I'm not sure I'm instilling a love of science. I need to work on that! Maybe if they ready about sperm competition they would dance in their seats like I do!

Well, to bed with me. I just wanted to take the new blog out for a test drive. Must get up early tomorrow and hopefully the blisters I got from exercising on weds won't appear again. Obviously I haven't done any sort of manual labor in a long time. Good-night, folks!
