				I think we should do a best of 2008. You can chose to cover whatever best of topics you want. That would entertain me at least.

As you can probably tell I am procrastinating from work. I really don&apos;t feel like entering grades. Blech.

				<title>joining the crowd</title>

				<description>

				So, I thought I would add my whine to everyone elses. I miss you guys a lot! I didn&apos;t want to do anything today and floated around enjoying my memories from this weekend. The ninja turtle song has been cycling through my head all day!

I realized today that i will be home again in three weeks. That&apos;s totally awesome, but its also giving me a panic attack because I have so much to do before the end of the term! I have to write a paper, compose a presentation, take two exams and grade my students written assignments (all 48 of them- crappy writers all).

I have a three day weekend this weekend and I&apos;m going to spend it dog sitting. I need the money so that&apos;s good, but I was thinking about driving up to Seattle... sadly that&apos;s not going to happen.

Okay, that&apos;s the end of me being whiney. My roommate is totally happy to see me, so I should go hangout with her and absorb some energy!

I&apos;m off! {cue final fantasy triumph music}

Best wedding ever!

				<title>This woman had my childhood!</title>

				Man, we must be the same age! Look at this: http://www.felaxx.com/under-the-influences.jpg

Okay, not only childhood, but similar joys as teenagers too!

If I lived in LA this is where I would be:

a tribute to saturday mornings done by some of my favorite illustrators. Nucleus usually puts a gallery up on line for their shows. I hope it goes up soon!

				<title>Valentines Part II</title>
				<link>http://www.oldgraycat.com/sarah/client/index.cfm/2007/2/14/Valentines-Part-II</link>
				<description>

				My cousin Max posted a link in the comments that is awesome! It has old school valentines cards for mario, TMNT, the california raisins (I swear I recieved some of those cards in grade school! --remember that show?!), and ZELDA!

One of the best is a card has bebop and rocksteady looking at each other with hearts and saying: we were made for each other! That seems reasonable.... Not to mention, Valentine I&apos;d like to LINK-UP with you! Reasonable, reasonable...

Ya gotta look! Great find, Max!

Happy V-day!

I&apos;m spending mine reading about sexual selection and watching a show about polygamous mormons with a bunch of graduate students!

				<title>yeah...</title>

				<description>

				So, a week just passed which means I&apos;m supposed to post, but I can&apos;t think of anything to talk about. Honestly don&apos;t even really remember what happened this week. I checked a lot of wood pecker trees and some very dry salamander ponds. That&apos;s really about it.... The most excited thing that happened was going out for ice cream with my co-workers on Thurs. The ice cream place is definitely within walking distance of my place, which is nice. They have a coffee crunch that I really want to try. I hope its coffee ice cream and heath bar. That&apos;s my favorite!

Critter of the week was a coachwhip (a species of snake). A very pretty and fast snake. Its black for about the first third of its body and then its fades to a dusty gray. Pretty cool little guy. When I tried to grab him he whipped about and just disappeared. He moved so fast I don&apos;t know if he just buried himself or actually bolted off. I was pretty startled.

5 more days until I head off to Oregon...
